are the rear brakes on a nova the same as a corsa?

one of the threads for my wheel bolts is goosed and it will be easier getting a corsa 1 from my scrappies

Yes mate there the same im running corsa drums on mine.

new drums are hardly expensive, and new bearings are a definite too, or the s/hand ones will grumble in no time.
