right so i wired up my electric windows and central locking but.......

the switches for the windows, when i press the lower side of the switch the windows go up and vice versa lol

is this right? my loom hasnt been chopped or anything and my switches are in the right way as they can only go in 1 way

No yours is the only Nova with them.


I think they are upside down as standard.

Swap the wires to the motors round then up is down etc :d

As above, I just swapped the wires in the plug that goes onto the motor, that way you don't have to cut anything.

Or just shave off the square lug in the center console that the switch sits into and rotate the switch, much easier than swapping wires or pulling door cards off lol

I've always found that way makes more sense, new cars when you have to pull it up to operate the windows and push it down to close them again make sod all sense to me :tard: No other button anywhere works that way!

I must admit i like the way oe switches are in a nova so mine will be staying the way the factory intended if i fit electrics in my nova!

Lol its funny you say, as ive experienced this with 2 seperate electric window kits ive installed. The first one worked the right way, and the second one the opposite way, was a few years ago now though.
