1.6 8v on carbs Conversion.

Car is currently a 1.2 carb (12nv), but I've been offered a 1.6 8v on r1 carbs and box with no ancillaries for a complete steal.

Would I need to change my fuel lines + tank etc if i'm staying with the carb setup, and what work would I have to do to my current loom, if any?

no need to change the tank and lines, as for the loom it should all plug and play.very easy conversion. make sure you get the right fuel pump.

if you can find a performance cam with the slot drive, the 1.2 dizzy will fit straight on, and if you can find a cam in a carrier, then the mech fuel pump will also work fine.

It's apparently on a newman cam, and is running the dizzy setup that's shaped like a cows udder (differnent to the 12nv setup), I'll whip the dizzy off and check if mine fits.

Then it's just a straight swap loom and all yep?
