Thinking about going down the homebrew route of turbo/manifold as iv seen a kit come up...

Just wanting some opinions, past experiences etc?

Good, bad, not worth it?

I know that lol but it's the oil filter relocation and such that I was thinking about..

There's a lad I'm ment to be meeting tomorow that's selling a homebrew one that got me thinking that's all..

I just want it ready for pvs lol :)

As with most things dude. The more time and effort put in, the better the result.

I've know some really good solid ones, a few of which are still going strong.

try mocal for oil filter relocation kit, you using spacer plate?

Yeah iv got the spacer plate sorted, I think itl be going to pv n/a tbh il see what the kit looks like tomorrow if it looks shabby il avoid it lol

The mocal relocator is 129 irrc

You'll need the manifold, turbo, oil filter relocation kit, spacer, 2 head gaskets, oil feed pipe, oil return pipe ( which means a mod to the sump ), intercooler and pipework, and depending on the turbo you'll also need water feed and return pipes, custom downpipe to meet up with your exhaust system.

It's upto you what else you want to fuel it but the stuff I listed will be defo needed.

I had a look at the kit this morning it looked alright but when I asked "has it been in the car running"

The reply was "errrm we only fitted it to see if the turbo would spool up" :/

I decided to steer clear as said by Damo do right do it once lol lol

Il just take my time aquiring parts and do the job properly :)
