can you fit a steering column without removing the dash?

and can you rebuild a nova door lock like you can do with fords?

somebodys tried to steal my car but thankfully it had no battery and no carb

Yeah should be OK to fit a new column without removing the dash. It'll be a bit tight on space removing the shear bolt but it's do-able.

Not sure about door lock sorry.

ok cheers.

anyone know about the door lock? would like to keep all the locks on the same key. already got a different key for the petrol cap, if i change the drivers lock means i'll have 3 keys for 4 locks lol

if you have the correct key for the lock you get as a replacement, then you push the key in, undo the clips & pull the barrel out. back in the day, i would put the new key in, then gently grind off the excess on the bench grinder.. it worked okish, but i have since done one by swapping the tumblers over.
