intercooler help.

hi i have a large mount intercooler with a large mouth bumper (it looks horrid tbh) it was like this when i bought it.

so iv bought a smaller intercooler and i would like to make it where its sitting behind the bumper. (would an original bumper hide it?)

what do i do cut the air feeds, so it sits further back?

its my first turbo car so im not the best on knowledge about them.

be great for some help, i just want to make it look like a sleeper.

Generally people modify the lower panel (cut and weld a box section into it) so that the cooler ultimately sits in the panel, then a standard bumper can fit over the top.
