I am going to upgrade to solid mounts to get rid of my engine movement, Ive seen a set on ebay but is there anywhere else who does them ?

If i could get enough people interested, id make some.

Id make them out of steel however and not ally. Which is better IMO.

Them ones on eBay are utter sh!te.

You can get 2 types on eBay alloy and steel, I had some of the alloy ones and yes there complete turd, rear one split after a few weeks

i have a set of solid steels on my cabriolet which will be for sale shortly as its worth more in parts than what somebody wants to pay! So i will be having a large for sale thread soon

I bought these from what used to be Chris Astley before he went tits up!

So far they have been fine. IIRC Adam runs the black eBay ones and afaik has had no issues...

Cheers for the info on this, I think I am going to try a set of the ones that online auto sport offer as the nova is crying out for them lol

All the aluminium ones from chris astley and protec are all manufactured by Compbrake.

Ring or email Compbrake up and ask for Brent. He will be able to sort you out. They actually provide Protec with them as far as im aware ;)
