brave lad lol..
Coilovers ; go for the GAZ kit.
Tyres ; Toyo 888 or Yokohama 048.
Polybushes too, maybe solid top mounts..?
What brakes you running?

Bilstein BIG piston normal setup suspension and some reasonable road tyres...

That will get you to a sensible level to work out if YOU need some training or the car needs improving (I'd wager both as we are all a bit crap at times lol)

I'd not bother with semi slicks until you are well and truely at the limit of your skill and the cars ability since they mask problems with both.

£114 for a 205/40/R17 isn't bad

Gaz golds, AO48's, full polybushes, weld in cage.

Thats gotta be a good spec.

Seeing as weather isnt always dependable, the slicks would be on my list after some decents (wets - all weathers). I found my GAZ coilies awesome in terms of adjustabilty & a degree of road comfort. Some tired FK coilies from the bay wont help, so buy new.

having a set of fresh bushes in all the major susp points will help no end as would a 4 wheel alignment/corner weighting session.

It's quite simple: Largest wheels & lowest CoG.
