Nice one Dicko - heard a tiny bit of that one the radio but then my annoying office companion here decided he would start mouthing off about it and i couldnt hear the rest.


Tis a good idea if you ask me. Loads of times i been on the motorway and seen someone swerve from one lane to another while on the phone with one hand.

lets face it, most people who have a mobile and car have tried to text at the same time man its well risky at night when youre tired!

lol i have done the same only its coming from up north and going back down south.

I think its a very good idea, we all do it but we shouldnt, my sister rolled her car with her and my 3 year old niece in by sending a text message (she wont admit it but she was).

... then there was the lorry driver who was texting his gf on the M1 and swerved into the hard shoulder just as someone was getting out of their car after breaking down - ripped them to shreds!

Shoudnt use mobiles when driving - I use in car kit - with mics - v good and much safer - although theyre talking about banning them too.

Anyone who texts whilst driving needs banning - fcuking insane - seen people do it on windy country lanes - how can you drive a car and text at the same time - fcuking stupid.

thing is if you know your phone REALLY well you can send a text saying exactly what you wanna say without even looking at it. I do it like that most of the time.

Very rare these days that i will read one while driving... unless i am on a very empty, very wide ery straight road.

But since the laws are changing i think i will stop the temptation and turn the phone off when i get in the car.

Coming back from knockhill yesterday, m8 (who workes for mobile company) was texting his bird - according to his digi dash he was doing 105! :x :o

I shat meself and asked him to stop - he managed to keep it in the lane (on a motorway) - but the way he was doing it was weird - sort of had the phone directly in his line of vision and kept glancing up and down - but resting it on the steering wheel at the same time.
