right it may sound stupid but i was reading through a few posts about turbos and i always thought it was the engine! But reading through it sounded like you can get it done to any engine e.g a gte,

can any1 put me right and explain?

u can turbo any engine, but how long it will last if its not designed for the turbo depends on many things.

basically the turbo spins up off exhaust gases, then that rotor spins up and drives more air into the inlet of the engine. so basially its conected externaly to the actual engine

fatser exhaust gasses leave, faster turbo spins up.

faster it spins and larger quanitity of forced air is rammed into the inlet. then a microswitch fools the ecu into thinking its at full speed, and dumps max amount of fuel in also........
