1.2 8v carb engine power mods??

hello all,

ive got a h-reg nova 1.2 carb, and i was wondering if theres any power mods i can do to it to up the power abit?

as ive stripped the head off to do the headgasket, is there any other heads or cam's i could fit to it to up the power abit?

also, will the 1.3 inlet manifolds marry up to a 1.2 head? as i'd like to fit a 1.3 sr carb as its twin choke and larger.

is there anything else i could do to increase the power at all?

Most bolt on rubbish doesn't work - the above bolt on mod will net you a slight gain... :-)

In all seriousness, the carb from an SR mod does make things a bit more lively but there isn't much more you can do unless you fancy chasing relatively small gains for a lot of time and cash. Once the carb is on, a good service and having the carb set up properly will be money well spent.
How far along are you with the rest of the car?
