I am selling my Mk.1 1.2l Nova Fling in Flame red. This is the last of the Mk.1 Nova's on a H plate. Has a sunroof and SR style steering wheel, (Usual Fling Spec) 4 Speed gearbox
Quick spec;
Currently 70794 genine miles (have docmentation to back up)
MOT until October 15, 2011, TAXED till end of June
Cavalier SRI wheels and SRI vented brake disks and callipers. Stops Great! Also will throw in the original steelies with good tyres if so desired! apart from that, no other mods.
Front exaust pipe and backbox replaced within last 12 months. Also replaced rear brake shoes. (Front and rear brakes checked and cleaned last week) New Coil and ignition module, and also rocker gasket replaced and coolant renewed, again within last 12 months. Replaced alternator drive belt last week as a precaution.
The paintwork had been treated with ''Supagaurd'' a couple of years ago, as it sat in a showroom as a demo car.
Bodywork wise, all supurb apart from off side rear arch which was repaired by myself a couple of weeks ago. (just the lip) - not a perfect job, but should be fine for a couple of years. (Thats how all novas go as you know!) There are a couple of very very slight rust ''bubbles'' elswhere but mainly cosmetic. As for the underside, boot and engine bay, all solid.
She starts everytime without fail and drives like a dream. The engine is very smooth with only a slight hint of tappet noise (quite normal!)
The radio was missing when i bought it so it has a standard Grundig system from a Cavalier, although i have never fitted an ariel (also missing - Has a rubber bung in wing)
Overall a cracking car. i am only selling:cry: due to wanting a more modern car with aircon etc...:d
