what tires can i put on gte wheels

ive been and bought some gte wheels but want wider tires on them wats the biggest you have or you can squeeze on them?

I'd say 175's, seen someone with 185's tho

I've a set with 185/60/14's on them, look a little too big I think.

185/60/14's cheapest always ran these myself at std ride height on 5.5" rims 49 offset

185/55/14's also, but more expensive

may go to 195/60/14's depending on ride height

Toyo catalogue recommended 6J wheels as a minimum width for 195 45 14s so GTE wheels will be too narrow. Don't know if this is them covering themselves.

I've put 185 55 14s on 5.5J 14" steels, good as gold.
