Not sure if this is a repost ............

The return of the Calibra based on the Insignia, looks ok for a modern day car IMO

I wonder if they'll be such a good engine donor as the first Calibra lol

Never know they might start making nova's again Flol

It looks horrible from the front - like some ugly American car. Not too shabby looking from the side and rear though I suppose.

If its in AutoExpress its probably tosh lol

Mind you, wouldn't surprise me. Especially about Mantas, what with the muscle resurrection in the states, maybe european manufacturers are trying the same thing.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. It's not like it has a legend to live up to. It can only be better than the original, no matter how crap it is! lol

Why bother going to all that trouble with ads and press etc just to put a new name on a Insignia 2 door??

Does this meen that in 10 years time there will be Calibra 2.8 v6 turbo lumps (as per insignia VXR) engines in Corsa d's

^^ No one has done anything that new to the best of my knowledge, guess you would need some serious cash and time to rip apart a brand new car, although I'd give it a go lol

No different to a Corsa C ZLET conversion that is getting very common? Wish a software flash, they use the same ECU I seem to remember

It's like the 2 door Audi A5 being made into a 4 door - the same as the normal car just with two more doors lol.

Looks OK. Will probably sell well in Diesel guise IMO.
