Hi,

probably hot water and some fishing line will do the trick. it'll cut through the foamy gluey shite easily

its like plastic disk that u put in the end of a drill and as it spins it heats up and melts the glue. they come off so cleanly as well[/quote]

Is it worth taking them to a proper body shop to get them removed! Fishing line sounds like a good idea however if this goes wrong it will look really shit! The car is an F reg so hopefully the strips won't be rivited it on! Still confused by this disc thing that goes on the end of a drill not sure how this works to be honest! Anybody actually done it and lived to tell the tale?
Matt
i was lucky on my old nova, they fell off. ( well my mate helped them off with a pressure washer ) look miles better with them off. if u use a pressure washer though take care cos u r bound to take some paint off! like i did!

Best thing i found for taking the glue off was Shiny sinks, still needed some work though but it didn't affect the paint.

just get 1 end loose and grab hold with 1 hand, hair dryer in other and peel and heat glue at same time. this is what i did.
Then get petrol on a rag and spend 2-3 hourd just getting rest of glue of paint.
P.s. Peel slowly othewise paint might come off.
