put music onto iphone from your computer.

ive plugged the iphone into the computer and it has come up as "portable device 1"

ive also put a disk in with the music i want from it(to go on the iphone)
and this as come up "drive (f:)"
ive ripped the music from it and it is now in my playlists.

this where im struggling as i just cant get it to the iphone???????????

is the music on the playlist on your iphone when its plugged in but you just dont know how to transfer it? if it is you just need to re-sync your phone and the songs will appear in 'recently added' on your iphones ipod. or is it just on ur computers playlist?
