Still some familier names floating about ...

I've been MIA for a while now, but there should be a certain Champagne Mk1 track car making a reappearance towards the end of this summer. It's been sat in a barn, with a horse for long enough now .

It's got the XR2 in there for company though, Both looking a bit sorry for themselves :(

Yes... Basically, decided to re-do some of the work on the shell as i'm personally not happy with bits of it, and it just escalated ha .

Work should begin soon on some kinda 10pt Cage and getting it all prepped and painted.. Meanwhile i'm going to start building another 1600 T40 , Watch this space :thumb:

Not at the minute, it's being stored 300 miles away from me . Should be heading back soon to start sorting it out so will grab some pictures , will also be putting the Xr2 back on the road - it's been out of action for nearly 2 years now

Here's the Nova in it's previous incarnation. I've only got the shell and it'll be being painted an off-white (Mini Pepper White) or a beige of some description in august

Nick you'll be pleased to know I'm helping to save the trees by having bought a diesel. Mmmm economical. Not sure they like all that smoke that poufs out the back mind lol

The XR2 has partly dissolved. It's basically gone on both sides of the floor where the mounts for the trailing arms are. Apparently this is common ? Thing is the rest of the car is still pretty immaculate... And i thought novas were **** - These XR2's are made of Cat Food tins.

Edit. I've just realised i bought it from you.. Why i oughta !

Welcome back, totally forgot you had Ollys old shell, get it sorted seriously, lol i have the bonnet looking pretty much like it is in that pic still sat in my shead! best pull my finger out! though the boot is on.

It needs a fair bit of sorting... The HH kit is OK, but some of the Stitching in the bay is going to be re-done although most of that is all right. It needs the internal Shifter mod re-doing, Seat rails re-doing, Arches on the rear, Doors e.t.c .

Although some of them are small jobs, they all mount up ontop of what i originally had planned so it's had to sit in a barn for the last two years - It's a pretty damn good shell so i've been waiting until it can be done without any corners being cut.

P.S Sell me all your MK1 Panels :)

They're awful .. I actually flipping hate that car now, but for some reason i can't sell it lol
