tinting lights

I have a pair of clear rear lights which I would like to tint the top half red. Can this be done successfully so that I get a shiny finish or Will you always be able to tell they have been tinted. I have noticed that simetimes when people have done this they end up looking dull with a Matt finish.

yes these are tinted with proper spray and the finish is shiny :)

you can get lamin x failing that

Ones i have are standered lights with the bottom to bits of clear lights cut out and stuck in place

Do you need to laquer them. Or is the tint spray enough to give a good shine..

Nope lacquer them too, spray can will be fine..
