Got loads of gaskets to fit soon, from exhaust to inlet to rocker and god only knows what else.

What is the best sealant to use to aid the gaskets to seal properly?

I never use sealant on any of the gaskets on an XE/LET. You only use it with cork gaskets normally.

I only use any kind of sealant on cam cover gaskets and sump gaskets.
With decent fitting gaskets it aint really needed.

none, unless it's face to face fit.

What about the paper type gaskets that you use with the inlet manifold, throttle body, and other minor gaskets?

Again none, the gasket does the sealing.
