I don't have a Nova Haynes manual and need a couple of torque figures.

- Nut that holds tie bar to bracket (22mm iirc)
- Pinch bolts holding bottom ball joints in place

While I'm on the same subject I thought I'd ask this too because I can't find info about in the calibra or astra Haynes manuals.

The bolts holding crown wheels to diff on a f18, what should they be torqued to?

there are torque figures for these?

i know the pinch bolt is a stretch bolt. so should be replaced. didnt know they have torque figures....

- Pinch bolts holding bottom ball joints in place 30Nm - 22 lbf ft


haynes dosnt say to replace the pinch bolt

They dont the tiebar bolts bottom out on the thread so just nip them tight the pinch bolts as martin(bmw156) said need replacing with new ones and need to be nipped but not sure on the crown pinion bolts.

haynes dosnt say to replace the pinch bolt

crown wheel to diff - 85Nm - 63lbf Ft
