Does anyone know if its possible to use late DIS type loom one the earlier dizzy type engine??? has it been done or is it hard to do??

yes you can use it mate but you have to swap all the sensors and the cams over iirc.

Nearly all of them i think the tps,afm,coilpack,cam sensor, and also the cams for the later ones but if your running the early belt setup use your original cam pulleys as they will be a round tooth as per the later square toothed ones.

Thanks!!! I have the coil pack loom and cam sensor, i can get hold of the inlet manifold to go with the loom which has TPS sensor on it? is the airflow sensor on the manifold too? just need to change cams aswell

The air flow sensor is on the air intake. You should see the loom plug going to it?

the guy I bought the car off has a few c20xe engines and is providing me with the neccessary parts (inlet manifold late type, late cams) so all should be good when it comes to fitting the engine (fingers crossed)! :thumb:
