View Full Version : 1.0 to 2.0 8v corsa drive shafts ?

rite fitted a c20ne into my nova which came out my friends corsa 1.2 i have used the corsa engine mount and had to redrill it to drop the engine down but are the corsa mounts made so the engine sits further to the near side ? as i am also using the conversion shafts from the corsa all i no is they are 22spline 1s dont no what from tho . anyway the problem i have is when i fit the shaft in postion thay are to long by about an inch so can not reach the ball joint in ? any help would be apprieciated puzzling me cheers john

use nova mounts and nova shafts then....

corsa shafts are longer than nova im afraid

As above corsas have a wider track.

Just use the correct fitting kit and nova 22 spline shafts other wise your going to have problems.

If I remenber correctly you can use an f13 gearbox with td flywheel and clutch and keep the nova shafts, or use and f16/f20 gearbox and use uprated nova shafts.. or get the shafts shoirtened, do you know anywhere that can shorten them??? I need to get the shafts on my 4x4 shortened too

how long would an f13 last though?

a friend of mine ran an f13 for and it lasted about 18months, and he did give it quite a bit of poke..
