its the wiper motor feed... it is a bodge, because any failure of the wiper circuit will blow a fuse and stopping the engine.. you should trace the old coil feed wire (its a clear coated resistive one) back to the ign switch, and connect a new wire in its place.

never found that wire on my conversion, still cant find it

every 1.0 nova had them from new... maybe yours had been modified in the past.

lol theres quite a few people that do this actualy

i ran it to the back of my fusebox to the wiper motor wire as my ecu sits right beside the fusebox
