may be a daft question but before i buy a 5 speed box, will it bolt onto my lil 26 year old 1.0?
Im guessing an F10 or F13 will fit?

Yeah a f10 will bolt on, would imagine an f13 would as well.

iirc, the bell housing and bolt holes, are completly wrong to go onto a 1L

For what gain though, 1.0 isn't exactly brisling with HPlol wouldn't really pull a higher ratio satisfactorily imo;)

Your getting @ 36-38mpg could be worse;)

try a range rover at @ 15mpg on a run (luckily it is on LPG:d )

swapping the cluster over is dead easy, as long as you remember to swap the diff gear on the output shaft.

i had a 5 speed on my 1.0 - it was an absolute nightmare, the poor 1.0 used to struggle like fook if there was a head wind. Would often have to drop to 4th
