Re-spray

I'm planning on getting my car resprayed and the rust on the back arches sorted while i'm at it. The rust isn't bad its just on the lip under the arches.

Whats the going rate for this kind of work coz I don't have a clue and don't want ripped off.

Also if anyone knows a decent place in Glasgow to get it done could you tell me.

AND I rebuilt my car last year - including respray!

However I dont have facilities here (used mums garage - double one)

If you want whole car done expect to pay (inc rust) up to ?600 for good job. For just the rear 1/4's (it will be obvious unless your lucky and paint aint faded) prob ?400+ - a bit Shop about.

I'll honestly say I dont know anyone in Glasgow that can do the job - I used to but the garage he was using went bust. Places like Vauxhall garages (Cartscube road Maryhill) can do it. Theres also a great paint supply shop called Carr Paints just up by Partick Thistles ground if youre able to do it yerself. There will be plenty of body shops about - check yellow pages. My next project I'll be doing myself (moving house with a garage so will eventually have all set up)

Cheers for the info mate. It just shows you how clueless I was, i was expecting a grand plus!!! I'll have a look around til I find somewhere that does it coz i don't have the time or the patience to even buy the tools to do it myself!!!
