sorry for my ignorance but my rad has been damaged in storage and thrown away a long time ago.

car originally was a 1,2 on a k plate.

is this rad a direct replacement for my fooked one??

Hi,

That looks like a 1.3 or 1.6 rad which is the full length one you need for an XE conversion.

thats a 1.0 rad

That one is yeah, with both hoses on one side, but its the same size as a 1.2 (Not full height)

Tim, that looks like a 1.2/1.4 rad. Should be 230mm high and 34mm thick (the 1.6 one is only 22mm thick but 280mm higher) so it'll be fine. I used one with my V6 and it kept that nice and cool.

The 1.0 rad wasnt used on any 1.2 OHC?, The ends are wrong, Yes its the same core though.

Tim, that looks like a 1.2/1.4 rad. Should be 230mm high and 34mm thick (the 1.6 one is only 22mm thick but 280mm higher) so it'll be fine. I used one with my V6 and it kept that nice and cool.

Erm, the end caps, and hoses are totally wrong fella.

The 1.0 ones are differant to any other, and are no good for an XE:thumb:

Part number for the 1.0 one is 90136828 which was apparently fitted to 12N and E12GV engines. Probably not used on the UK market I suppose though
