errrm. look at them....

the f15 is a later version of the f13. the f13 has mech operated clutch, and a lot have an inspection plate on the bellhousing.
the f15 does not have an inspection plate & some have a hydraulic clutch...

both will fit in the same place on the same mounts in a small block nova

Should of had a cr matt? My gsi box had been messed around with and had 1st to 4th from a wb and 5 th from a cr ending up with 4th and 5 th being the same ratio, took the box of my gte and put it in the gsi which made a world of difference.

also the f15 is easier to set the gears up as you dont need to put drill bit into it.
the f15 takes 150lb's of torque
the f13 takes 13olb's of torque.
and so on.....
thats what i'd been told also.

i read the other week about old style indy cars having multiple top gears so if one failed, they could select another.... maybe the previous owner of your box had similar ideas.....

If you put a f15 in out of a petrol you will be flat out at 8omph!

just the driverside bearing on my f13 is funked and the driveshaft will need machined to get the melted parts of bearing off it

it has a clip that you just push in or out and you set the gearing up from that.

using an f13, you can swap the final drives around, use a 4.18 or a 3.74 crown wheel and pinion. The pinion gear is part of the main shaft on an f15 and cannot be removed.

so take the f15 diff and put it in the f13

its a clip or pin, cant remember. i remember riggy doing it. i'd gone to get a drill bit and he said it wasn't needed.

Instead of the drill, you pull or push the black plastic tit up or down lol

In between 1st and 2nd.

Riggy also did mine lol
