c25xe - f20 stiff clutch pedal?

Right got a querie guys iv used a flat flywheel and flat pressure plate with a pot type friction plate and bearing the clutch pedal seems stiff, i need to de adjust the cable abit as the clutch pedal is sitting approx 2inch above the brake throttle pedal. Any ideas? i lightly greased up the spline before fitting the box but the lot has been sitting for a while?? i have been told that this setup will work though? :confused:

sounds like you need to adjust the cable, should sit about level with the brake pedal, usually a little bit higher. was it a new clutch?

na mate used clutch but was fine when i took it off the xe engine ill adjus cable and see lol

Have you been driving a car with hydraulic clutch recently? Cos Nova pedal is really stiff compared to modern cars lol

lmao i work for jaguar but drive a combo van soo yes and no but is definently stiff lol
