any 1 no what size brakes i should use on my rwd?
i was going to use v6 on the front and vectra disks with rear calipas on the back but with no weight in the front and lots in the rear im not shore if this is right
any one no what any one else has done?
i would of thought a bias valve would be needed you cant get no bigger budget brakes than v6/288mm really its all about the setup not the brakes themselves

i was thinking the same just was not 100%
cheers
Do what the VX does... 288mm discs front and rear.
The fronts still do most of the work since its all about weight transfer
and you'll need a viable handbrake on the back too.

Astra GTE rear discs, then 288s up front
you need to find a caliper with a handbrake cable, and forget the rubbishy little drums. scrapyard ahoy..
I'm assuming its going to be RWD.... meaning 'front' calipers for the main braking and then just get the small lever calipers from Rallyde/tweeks/highspec

308s?
320s?
Not required though, but look cool as fooklol
i'd imagine looking at the size of brakes on the donor vehicle would give you a decent idea, considering the lower weight of the nova, it would make a pretty good start point.
May I also suggest a read of the braking article lol.....
288's would be fine with sensible pads imho.
