44 Oxygen sensor Air/Fuel mixture too lean (weak)
Does this mean it could be fuel or air to lean (weak)?
has any 1 had this before, if so what was your problem?
its just so i can eliminate things as i go along
any help will be much appreciated
thanks :)

Could be airflow meter at fault/ faulty lambda etc.

This keeps coming up, i havnt changed it yet, and i keep getting flat spots when put my foot down, could this be because of this code?
i have a powerbox fitted, so shouldnt really have any flat spots should i?

Powerbox's can cause flat spots.

Powerbox's can cause flat spots.

3rd gear is the worst, going from 2nd to 3rd doesnt want to pull just drags, but sometimes it will fly with no problems. any ideas?
+ spluttering when cold ??

I suspect you've a air leak around the inlet manifold or the fitment on the throttlebody to your powerbox.
My old Mantzel one suffered the same at one point, took it off, cleaned all the surfaces and put a new gasket on and job was a good one. ;)

^ I'd go with that. If that fails change your lambda.

cheers mate, ill have a look 2moro, mite just get all new gaskets hopefully that sorts it, it is only since i changed the inlet that i got power loss, but before i changed it, i did get the fault code 44 (lambda).
Do you think i should put an adjustable fuel pressure regulator on... some 1 suggested this to me ???

and what fuel pressure should i have, before i had the powerbox on, i had a gauge in ther and it said it was just under 3bar pressure, is this enuf? and would it need more pressure with the powerbox fitted?

Thanks for all comments :thumb:

Your on standard management so don't get a fpr, the ecu determines the fuelling ;)

its starting to annoy me now, it was quicker with the standard inlet on lol

this code come up today... "13 Oxygen sensor Open circuit" i checked the plug, unclipped it and put it back on, then checked it a few hours later and ther is no fault codes coming up for it running lean anymore,

just scrap the standard management and go after market!

lol more than the cost of a Lambda sensor!

If you buy new. For Joe bloggs your looking at about £540 quid for the ecu maybe even more for the likes of a DTA S40. You then need a loom, again £300 (if you buy one already made. then custom map £400. I was lucky, I got my Ecu and Loom for the price of the Ecu on its own.
