no butin my opinion it would be one epic car have some rep for just thinking of such an awesome idea:thumb:

everytning should fit from the td though you may need to wel a mount on the offside leg but cant see it being an hard conversion

got all the engine td and striaght diesel at work and was going to convert a petrol corsa but i know of white mk2 astra 1.8gte totally standard and thought that it would a bit different dont think it will be all that hard hardest bit as said is the engine mount at least can use big block shaft and go mental with the boost :)

i best crack on going to keep it looking standard outside hide an intercooler down behind bumper wind the pump and boost though the roof and smoke some tyres:) :) :) will put up some pictures when i get it

they do... well kind of that is, you'l have to fabricate an adapter for it as the mountings are diff, but i machined one at work and it works a treat, if you get stuck give me a shout, i could always get the CNC at work to fire another one out!

my last cav boosted 25psi with wastegate shut all the time so we will see what boost i can get and then get rolling roaded

going to look at it tomorrow and fingers crossed it a good one hobbit proberly get done before yours or will take my time with taking your engine out lol lol should be ok moving in two weeks and is going in the garage so will be cracking on as will want to drive and got my gte 16v for spares to get it moted :)

i have been and had a look today it needs 2 patches of welding a p/s wing a bit of paint work and a very good clean its only done 45000 miles so having second thoughts on diesels ing it being such a low milage one or wheather to do it up standard as poss :)

proberly but only paying £200 for it so will have a look worth that in bits also got my astra gte 16v that i am breaking so got most of the running gear if needed for mot tho soon find out
