I've got a set of 14" Revolution RFX's on my Nova but the tyres are a bit too big. I know nothing about tyres so was wondering if anybody knew what size tyres would be best for the arches etc. here is a pic of the wheels fitted:

Change wheels something 15in comps or Vauxhall wheels 195 50 15 or 16in wheels with 195 40/45 16 in my opinion.

As for tyre choice depends on budget

Cannot afford new wheels. My dad gave me these as they were on his astra GTE years ago. They're getting sprayed when the Nova gets sprayed.

There a set of 5 Cav fan blades for 100 quid with ok tyres on in for sales bit. Otherwise drop the car on it's ass and put 185 55 14

I'm putting the -60mm springs back on it after it's been painted so I may get some 185 55 tyres. Cheers for your help!

185 55 14 are the tyre size you want. Try Khumo KU31 ecstas or Uniroyal rainexpert if you want cheaper tyres that are still very acceptable for normal road use.

175 60 14 are exactly the same height as 185 55 14 but give you a little bit more room for the arches. Nice rims by the way...

I have 185/60/14's on my 6" wide RFX's, ended up running std ride height as 40mm drop caused issues with the arches (RH) what offset are they?

Would try the drop against the tyres you have fitted before commiting to new tyres that may not work, I think you will struggle with 185 60's and 55's from my experience.

175 width maybe the way to go
