Yes it slides in the end of the cam box, which is held down with the head bolts. you will have to fully remove the head, and change the gasket while your at it, as it wont last long otherwise. I speak from experiance on this one lol

you can get a special tool which allows you to remove the rockers without undoing the head bolts.

well, you can push the followers down, and then having forced the oil out of the lifters, the followers & valve caps can come out, then the camshaft can be taken out of the front. now to get the lifters down will need a special tool . sykes pickavant did one, or you could make one with some decent plate. bolt it to the rocker cover & use a bolt/nut to wind them down

I put a Kent AST2 in a standard C14SE, and it was terrible lol lost power, and wouldn't idle, so put the original back in. lesson learned, fancy cams + standard engines = phailz lol

also those holding tool things are rubbish, and you need 8 of the feckers, so at £80 its cheaper to do the head gasket lol

You only need one tool, just do one rocker at a time. Simples

Ive used one of the tools gary and adam are talking about when i swopped my 1.2spi cam for a 1.6 one. It was dead easy to work with i got mine from ebay for 8.50 delivered best money ive ever spent and on mine the cam seemed to make a big differance but i had a 1.8 throttle body with 1.4 injector and a 4branch manifold with decat.
