gear linkage

i took my rosejointed gearlinkage off and my bro stupidly took it apart while he was here

i put it all back together but i dont havce an original one to make sure evcerything is the same size

its selecting 1st 3rd and 5th fine but really struggles to get into 2nd and 4th

it worked perfectly before i took it off but now i dont think its back to the original size :(

ive tried moving the selector rod further forward but that just makes everything hard to get into

im setting it up using the allen key in the hole method

Having similar issues with mine but it will hardly select any as its hitting the steering rack!

hmm mine clears the steering racvk by a good few inches

did you measure up all your old linkage before dismantling? lol

Yeah its all spot on, but i didn't use the alen key in the gear shifter hole, Maybe this is where i have gone wrong? I will have to have a proper look when i go back upto the car this weekend.

your best off to set it up using the allen key
