Hellooo hopeing one of you brainy people can put a finger on it with whats wrong....

My landlord at pub round the corner from me, has this astra which i believe is the x20xev as its the later type gsi? (the ecotech engine) it has just gone through mot but is running rich i think as you can smell it.

The problem is sometimes it idles fine then sometimes it idles lumpy really lumpy. then when you take it for a drive it sometimes holds back under hard acceleration. and puffs a lil black cloud which makes me think its mix is wrong.

sooo its had a brand new gm afm, fuel filter and o2 sensor. still the same and checked for air leaks. no joys.

Any ideas? rep for those who help :thumb:
