kebabs are the marmite of the takeaway world...
i personally like them from one particular outlet in hinckley that does excellent fast food, but closes by 10pm, so you have to eat them sober...
Every so often I will get a chicken and lamb kebab from the pizza shop near mine. This place rocks, people travel around 10 miles to use it. lol
As a result, the queues can get a bit much for us locals angryface but the chicken is great. Proper cuts, grilled and proper (long and soft) pieces of doner kebab, a portion of chips and cos I don't get salad - more kebab meat. lol

of the multinational chains, kfc is by far the best, but the hinckley one is crap these days...so we have to go 7miles for some.

I'm not fond of kebabs as such as i don't like all the pickled crap that goes into it, but i do like kebab meat, chips n garlic sauce occasionally.
Sturge hates the sight of it and would rather eat his own testicles than entertain kebab meat.
This coming from the man who is from somewhere that deep fries pizza (the worst thing i have ever seen), mars bars and haggis ffs........:d

I've not tasted it Stu, it really does not appeal to me(on a par with black pudding), He says he'll cook it one night for m to try which i said i would, it was the deep fried in batter haggis that was a bit gross.
Also deep fried Mars bars are surprisingly nice!

i used to work at mcdonalds, thankfully a clean one, however alot of managers had to be transferred to one in town as they were very dirty, they diddnt even clean out their milkshake machine! gross!
i worked in a kfc back in the 80's, and i had to put up with all the rat rumours etc... the thing is that every branch has shift cleaning rotas & weekly rotas, and if the person in charge of a certain shift isn't pulling their weight, the one on the next shift should report them for it... as for the shake machine, it only takes a few minutes to clean one... this 24/7 opening thing is bad for Macd's as they are trying to manage with no downtime...

Well after a few beers when I got home the whole lot got devoured including the toblerone.
And I think its a case of the takeaway thinking were going to cook all the meat we can lay our hands on and serve it.
Reminds me of something I had in Glasgow once. A 'meat box'. Around a dozen types of dubious looking meat all served on a pizza base (8"?). Nasty stuff! lol

Although the one i posted, we had some pissed up randomers come into the shop one night and wanted one of those (mixed kebab) in a calzone (obviously with cheese and tomato sauce) fook knows how they ate them but three of them got one each, £12 each iirc lol
