my L reg gsi project forsale :(

due to needing funds im having to put my gsi up for sale its a rolling shell with interior just needs engine. engine bay has been set up for a c20let. but any engine will go in to it. its rolling on steelies needs wings painting both corners of boot need welding and could do with to sills ive got 1 to go with it and what ever ive got lieing around its got big block hubs which ive got shaftes for and a xe powerflow exhaust and manifold. interior is mint and its a genuine L reg gsi still a 1.6 on log book. looking for £700 ono or £700 on the nose with the wheels. wheels will need painting located in manchester. ill put pics up later today.:)
its a accident damage repared in 21,6,2006 and i have nearly all mots was last mot'd 2008 has been of road since as working project just being trueful.

Regardless, anyone who passed there test after 1998 is only tow 750kgs.

a common misconception ;) you can tow a trailer, not exceeding the kerb weight of the tow vehicle, with the combined weight not exceeding the gross train weight of the tow vehicle.

for example, when I had my Land Rover, its GTW was 3500kg, and vehicle weight was 2000kg (ish) so I could tow a 1500kg trailer.

basicly, subtract the kerb weight from the gross train weight and thats your maximum towing weight (so long as that weight is not greater than the kerb weight)

I thought I could only tow 750kg too, but after a quick phone call to Lincolnshire police HQ, I was told the above.

Still no use.

Plated weight of the trailer is what counts.

3 tonne car transporter, and 1900kgs van capacity.
