Up for sale is my recently finished Corsa Sport.
I bought it a couple of weeks ago with a snapped timing belt. I used the conversion parts I had to convert it to a C20xe.
The car has 2 months tax and MOT till January 2012.
The Corsa has covered a documented 34,000 miles with service history book and old MOT's.
Anyway heres the spec:
Shell:
Corsa 1.6 16v sport shell - non sunroof - no cracks in the B pillars and in good order. However the car is pretty scratched and as it is black it shows these up quite badly. The car is going for a full buff so I will report as it comes back. The tailgate has a dent in the bottom passenger corner.
It is fitted with genuine Morette headlights and the indicators in the bumper along with a genuine irmscher front splitter.
Interior:
All standard Corsa sport. The seats are very dirty and require a wet vac to bring them back up to scratch. The foam padding on the side of the bottom drivers seats has sagged. However it has a standard uncut parcel shelf. In the pictures you may see the ecu in the drivers footwell, im trying to figure a way to put this away behind the kick panel and will be sorted before it is sold.
Suspension:
FK front coilovers.
Avo rear dampers with adjustable rear springs.
Ploybushes fitted to the front.
Wheels:
15" Compomotive mo's with 195/45/15 tyres fitted. They look ok in the pictures but they would benefit from a fresh coat of paint.
Brakes:
2.0 16v discs and calipers.
Engine:
C20xe fitted - this was taken from my Mk1 Astra GTE and is a really quiet engine with no tapping from start up. When it was in the astra it had a headgasket, new timing belt, plugs, leads, cambelt and rollers, oil and filter and a cool running thermostat. The engine has covered around 80,000 miles from memory. It is fitted with an ecotec pipe and adapter plate. All wiring done neatly and tidily. Powersteering still fitted and operational.
New pipercross air filter.
It is fitted with big block shafts and hubs with the long shaft being a split shaft.
Im being very honest and picky with the car so here is the list of bad points.
Scratched paintwork,
It had foglights in the lower grille which looked horrible so I removed them, leaving 2 holes in the lower grille.
The radiator fan is on a switch as the car previously had air con and the old radiator has 2 sensors whereas the new smaller one only has one. At present im trying to sort this so it should kick in when it is supposed to.
Seats require a good clean and drivers foam sagged.
Overall though it is a very good car with genuine low milage. Its not too practical for me to keep at the moment though so I may be open to some sort of px.
Pricewise im looking for around £1400.
Anyway heres a couple of pictures and others can be sent at request.
