Hatch tanks are same and fit fine I use an mpi tank on mine

You will also need shafts an engine mount and rear spacer and an f28 chassis mount welding on in place of the standard gearbox mount

Also worth checking if your gearbox is mechanical or electric speedo a
Electric can be converted though with either box you will need an f20 speedo drive though or the clocks will read wrong

so i will need a f20 speedo drive for the speedometer to be accurate on the f28.

thanks simon

Yes - you need to split the box and swap the speedo ring from the diff from an F20.

Also a FWD conversion plate for the gearbox.

Drill and tap the rear of the gearbox.

Cut the slam pannel for the AFM inlet pipe.

Im sure 2 door tanks are the same as hatches, but 4 door ones are differant, so you're fine.

Also go for the 3 bolt rear mount, on the 2 bolt you will snap it rather easily lol

Use a GTE or GSI external pump, with a GTE/GSI tank, or an SPI tank with MPI pump:)

I have an F28 2wd plate here if needed.

WTF ?! why ffs !?

Slam panel ruined, bonnet pins needed because the slam panel is weaker

Do it right and do it once, get the inlet on the turbo modded to fit properly

Not true - I only had to trim a few mm to get the pipe on mine...

Ahhh right, just seen a few people in projects ruining slam panels with LET'S

Thought it was a pikey method lol obviously they got it totally wrong lol

I have seen it done both ways.

Cutting the turbo and welding it is the best, but a lot of people cba with that.

I'd rather "trim" the pannel then have the inlet hose crushed:thumb:

Well I think it also depends on the engine mounts - sometimes the engine sits slightly different - I was lucky I guess!;)
