hi all

i got my first mk4 today finally binned the bag of poop 45 i had and here it is, not the prettiest but not bad for the money and they were willing to take the rover with extremely noisy auto box.

110k,1998, 1.6 8v £700

since getting it i have realised that it is wet in the boot any ideas? and the engine has an oil leak either head gasket or the one above(cant remember the name) so should be able to sort.

is this the same as the c16se/e16se?

any way here are the pics, i will be looking to get the later spec lights and better model interior and bumpers/mirrors with time

engine is x16szr (or something like that) horrible engines, with all the unwanted EGR/emmissions crap bolted on.. 70 ish bhp! ;)

my sisters 1.8 sport has that egi valve and all that sh*te!! she was gutted when i did her in my sr lol!! looks tidy enough for a run around though matey!

i have no doubt it will cause me some probs as all my vaux's have lol:cry: :cry:

the power is poor but as a daily just interested in cheap insurance/decent mpg
