hi everybody,usually i would be building a track car but due to an old back injury i wont be able to race again so im building a show car.
i have a mk2 nova and a valver for it,at the moment i am building a custom dash from scratch,i have shaved the door handles,i have a full set of calibra leather seats and i will be making custom door cards.
i will get some pics up asap.:thumb:

yep ive passed quit alot of people that said they were not racing anyway.

and a couple of pictures of the dashboard,just took it off the mould this will give me the general shape i need just to start smoothing it and cutting out the bits for the gauges and switches etc.

Interesting dash! Is that a subwoofer hole in the passenger side? What clocks are you planning on using with that?

yes its for a sub on the passenger side,im using some plasma gauges and some analoge.

I think a subwoofer in the middle of the dash will look unusual but the gauges will look good.

Plus, isnt it going to vibrate alot ?

ok so my back has got worse so the valver is on the shelf and may be for sale .i managed to finish the dash and im in the prosess of fitting it into my wide arched nova.i still have lights etc to fit onto it.

Bar the sub in the dash I quite like it, it will be a nightmare at night with reflections though from headlights on the window.

A shame you had to mount a rev gauge on top though lol

Are they impreza seats you've fit?

thanks for all your comments.i realise there is only a minority that would like this dash but i dont like vauxhalls effort and i dont want what everybody else has so thats why i built it.heres some more pics almost finished.just need more relays so i can wire the passenger window to its toggle switch.
