been looking around for ways and means of getting my car off the ground for working on as normal ramps and axel stands arent high enough for me

found this

http://www.restorationramps.co.uk/phdi/p1.nsf/imgpages/ramps_Powdercoated.JPG/$file/Powdercoated.JPG

its about £1000 to buy

surely this could be mae up for a fraction of the price

anyone have something similar to this

haha its not just the height factor

lying under a car battering it about on 4 axel stands isnt the best lol

haha if only, i could easily show the engineer at wotk that pic and he could make me some up very cheaply :)

the joys of being a nightshift worker get to pin/build/play with what you want

As said, commercail axle stands FTW. I have the Lolvo up on four at present, and she's solid as a rock, fairly high (I can get under with the grinder/welder easily) and most importantly, they aren't maxed out.

I've been known to do it differently in the past.
