Six dial dash into 1200

Okay, I have looked for the answer to this question, but cannot find a clear answer.

I have a GSi instrument set that I want to replace the three dial dash. I know that you need to run a wire from the oil pressure gauge down to a different sender on a bigger oil pressure switch. And a wire needs to be run from the rev counter to the coil.

However what I cannot see is where the pick up from the volt meter is. Does the dash take this from the curren draw on the main loom? Or is there something I'm missing?

Everything else will work fine fella, you just need to wire in the oil and tacho. MK2's may have the rev wire taped to the loom.

should just be "plug n play". I put 6 dials into my Mk2 1.2 and all the wires where there and all worked.
