fuel pump question.

I fitted another tank and pump on my gsi last weekend, then got fed up with it as it ran fine when it was jacked up but as soon as i lowered the back of the car down it died :S have i connected the pipes backwards, there is one small and one large diameter fitting on the tank, which one is feed and which one is return?

the feed pipe is 12mm and comes out of the sender, the return is 8mm and goes in the front of the tank. is the pump running? how much fuel is in it?

Ive put them backwards, what a tit lol, pumps running, annoyed at c16xe managment though, seem to be burning the starter out due to the pump only working on crank.
