My insurance has just gone down £30 from last year with the same company, now £325 full comp :d

Mine was £97 last year and it'll be due in June..
I'll accept nothing less than cheaper!
Sometimes it pays to be (almost) middle aged..
True though, we will all have to pay toward all those disasters: natural and otherwise..
..and of course the masses who still choose. to drive uninsured...

Plus the fact that insurers are levelling the playing field for men and women, at men's expense ¬_¬
round our area they have anpr cameras on all the council estates..... i can't think why.......

thats awesome lol.
and my insurance went down for the renault about 50 quid.
and just insured the chevette redtop for 575 so both good times IMO.
I can see a massive increase in uninsured drivers.
Especially younger drivers, mates little brother is struggling to get insurance for under 2k on a standard 1.0 lupo
Insurance is ridiculous atm
i wouldnt mind if it was a newer car...and something id paid more than 250quid for!
might ring direct line when i get my renewal notice through and tell them if they dont either keep it as it is or drop it they can get stuffed.
not like i use it very much either, mainly going to see me rents in another town, ride pretty much everywhere else. might have to give sky a ring ;)
Whats the problem, insurance renewals always are higher. Thats why you should shop round each year.

At women's expense you mean; their premiums will rise.
The insurance system needs an overhaul anyway, its getting ridiculous now.
[edit] Plus monthly payments are gash as you're paying something usually like 20-30% APR lol

Yeah as are ours, everything is going up not just for the ladies...
And I agree with the monthly payments shizzle, if I could afford nearly a grand in one lump sum I wouldn't have bought a nova lol
same as me, i cant afford to pay off my insurance in one go. not to mention i have to get a flat by the end of the summer :/

Monthly is almost theft by insurance..
I was screwed for two years by the Co-op insurance back in 1985/86..
Insurance for my Mk2 Escort Ghia was £600ish but after paying monthly, I'd been shafted for around £800..
Which was a fair wedge back then...
Bank loan @ ~7%? Preferably one which lets you pay extra or settle early with no fees
I'm not looking forward to the Nova renewal, I need to add Lee as a second driver and his license has more points than tron playing pong lol
