corsa B breeze - daily

not got much planned for this. want going to do anything for a while lol but temptation kicked in, was bought as a daily while i build up nova. not done alot to it atm apart from clean it lol. s reg, star silver, 1.4 8v, power steering and sunroof, got a few plans corsa gsi front bumper, spoiler, smoked front depos, debadged grille, sport seats, lowered and hopefully some 16" irmsher softstars or 15s what ever come along really

ive got so far

gsi bumper (bit tatty but going fix it)
sport spoiler
60mm lowering springs and uprated front shocks

should hopefully some smoked depos tomorrow

been a while since i updated this, well i had decided to sell this and concentrate on the nova, so i sold the depos, then decided to keep it so fitted the speedlines onto this, then left it for a few weeks and today was done at the scrappies and picked up a gmax 60mm lowering kit, spoiler, clear depos, drivers glass is cracked, didnt realise it at the time though and astra mk4 side reapeters.

going get everything fitted soon, wheels painted star silver, spoiler painted and fitted and quite fancy morretes, or i may do something with the clear depos id i can find a drivers glass i could fit, few pics

been a while since i did anything on the corsa, decided on a gsi kit for this, getting collected in 2 weeks, will be colour coded, need to remove rubbing strips though. so i thought id give the speedlines a lick of paint. decided for black, not to everyones taste but i like it

couple hours after finishing the wheels on the corsa i spotted some sport seats for sale for free in dundee, so i got a mate and we headed up, collected them and brought them home. so got them fitted yesterday :)

i just scrapped a whole corsa sport, full mint interior all panels good etc, no one wanted anything.
Only thing i got is the spoiler as i forgot to take it to the dump.

well after getting some good news yesterday on the job front i decided i'd get the corsa ready for its mot, probs could do with a service and new discs and pads aswell. so today i got a few odd jobs done on it while ive got the time :)

black hammerite, not a fan of underseal as doesnt really dry goes kinda tar like. looks alot better, still the inner archs to do though

right were do i start... started my new job at amazon in dunfermline and its going well so decided i need some transport to get there instead of relying on my old man so going get the corsa booked in for its mot next week. but 1st i had a few problem to fix, couldnt get the window washers working even after changing the motor twice!. it turned out to be the little rubber bit that goes into the bottle. easy fix number 1 :)

next was a horn... changed from the horrid basic spec steering wheel to a sport one and couldnt get a horn working so decided i needed one mounted on the dash.. so ran some wires and used a little button out the steering wheel ;) wired it up and then beeeeeep one working horn but it was constant lol finally eventually sorted it and problem number 2 sorted.

now im in 2minds weather to change the rear springs or not, currently running 100mm springs so 1.) pretty low 2.) spring falls out when jack up the car.... do have 60mm i could fit for mot atm....

Corsa looks pretty clean mate, i think the wheels would of been better silver though, love the height.

For an everyday car id just stick with the -60 springs, looks low enough with them. (also the 100mm ones technically shouldnt pass if they fall out)

my 60mm sit to high for the corsa, hated it, looked too nose heavy, 100mms are fine but for mot sake 60s will be fitted

well the corsa had its mot today and well it passed on a tyre, but the tester said if i could get a replacment fitted he would pass it today. so i went to kwick fit and got my spare tyre swapped over (i thought it was punctured but it was sealed on the rim properly) couple pics

at the MOT garage were i spotted a black 1.5td with sport spec etc looked quite tidy

and bought a full custom stainless, but it was on a 1.2 16v so doesnt quite fit my 1.4 8v yet but tried the back box on

also think the head gaskets away....... so might be an engine change on the cards instead of fixing the 1.4

well decided id better update my thread,

3 new brake pipes, 2 flexi's, 2nd set of calipers and 50quid later she has brakes, ive had a stainless steel exhaust system fitted cat back straight thro. also gave the little 1.4 a full sevice and a cheap cone filter was fitted.

decided to paint up gsi kit black to be a bit different (still not sure) and bought a fully retrimmed leather interior.

next up i got a new tailgate so i can get it semi smoothed and a bonnet off getting badboyed atm aswell.
