Just wondering if anyone has ever heard of or done an upgrade of the throttle body on a 1.4mpi motor. The reason I ask is due to road rally regulations limiting engine mods.
Thanks :d
i don't think it needs any, its not the biggest restriction on the inlet, and the 1.6 runs the same one.. you might smooth out the throttle itself a bit.

Ah thanks.
I do like the MPI 1.4 its a good engine to work on what sort of hp could you get out of one with a little machining here and there and a good cam etc...?

depends on how deep your pockets are :)
i have one, not finished yet so i dont know the BHP.
my mate has an engine thats had a lot of head work done, a rally cam and the GTE injection. He is also lucky enough to have a quaife box and diff and that makes a BIG difference :)
he has 152bhp at the wheels :) to be honest thats about the limit for a 1.4 i would think
