1300 cam

Bit cheeky I know but I'm after a cam for my mk1 astra and thought I'd try you guys. Basically she started rattling like crazy. Think this MIGHT be the cause.

i'd be having a look at the shells & oil pump too.. it looks like a lot of crap & not much oil have been going round the engine.

my mum gave me her 1300 astra some years back that was running ropey, the screws in the back of the oil pump had come out.. it looked very much like your engine's innards. you can get the cams reasonable cheap off the bay.

I have some old 1300 cams you can have one for £5 plus the postage.

Ive found a "cam kit" for 50 on ebay. going to see whats included. If its not up to much then you have a deal gary
