Do you mean the switched live for the xe/let loom in the bay, on my 1.2 if its the same the sqr coil behind passenger head light has a black wire that unclips off it which is switched live ?

There should be a female recepticle in the fusebox to take a 6mm blade, they are for accessories and are down one side. Just use a test light to find one or look for a black wire.

iirc the purple wire on the wiper motor is a switched live aswell

Make sure it's live whilst cranking too

follow the clear coated coil feed back to the ign switch & connect a proper wire. then you know that if the wipers fail, you will still be able to start the engine.

yes, the clear bit is the ballast resistor.. put normal wire in its place & it will work fine.

it is on all the other models, but the 1.0 is old fashioned... not many manufacturers have fitted a ballast resistor on cars since the late seventies....
