twin 40 coil wiring

Putting twin 40s on my e16se, just wondering whether the coil still needs the booster pack? Only ask as I was planning on just removing the whole injection loom but the coil booster wiring is part of this.

What actually runs off the booster, off the top of my head there is a switched live but what's the other stuff?

Surely by running a switched live from the car loom would be sufficient to power the booster, maybe an earth to?

Doesn't matter got home and had a look through the haynes and it seems it doesn't need the booster and the only connections are a switched live and the rev counter
